Tanking up on impulse buys

Advertising at the POS is far and away the most efficient means of communication. 60-70% of consumer decisions to buy are made at the point of purchase. At petrol pumps or anywhere else that involves waiting, infotainment on ad screens inevitably draws people’s gaze. Acceptance is strong, because next to advertising messages the customer also receives weather and traffic reports. This is the reason behind present strong growth in the ‘Digital Out Of Home’ (DOOH) sector, as ad screen advertising is also known.
