Digital diagnosis
The stethoscope is passé. Today’s computer tomographs, magnetic resonance imagers and other high-tech instruments are capable of discerning every last fibre of the human body. But that is only of any use when pin-sharp displays are available to graphically visualise what the scanner technologies pick up. Satisfyingly sculpted medical displays, often combined with membrane keyboards, are an Invertag speciality. They reveal things that once remained hidden from doctors and patients, and so help with the development of effective therapies.
