1964

Start of business as a trading company for electromechanical components

1983

An affiliate company, Amotec Electronic AG, is founded to take over Invertag’s measuring instrument business

1987

Andreas and Markus von Arx take over management of the company; business expands into system components and complete systems, module and system development

1990

A Munich-based subsidiary, Invert GmbH, is founded and strengthens development of the German HMI (Human Machine Interface) market

1995

Amotec Electronic is sold to its managing director on strategic grounds – concentration on the HMI core business

1997

Partnership with the Demmel Group of companies, consisting of Demmel AG, Rawe Electronic GmbH, Dyna Systems GmbH, E.P. Elektro Projekt GmbH & Co. KG; the partnership allows Invertag and Invert to strengthen development of the German market and outsource production for large orders

2000

The plug and socket connector business is divested to the EME company, clearing the way for total focus on the HMI market

2001

The Invert GmbH subsidiary relocates from Munich to Lindenberg, for proximity to Group partners

2002

Sole distributorship agreement signed with Conrac GmbH, the leading maker of transport and public displays

2005

Invert moves into new office premises in Scheidegg (Switzerland)

2007

Andreas von Arx acquires the business stake of Markus von Arx, making him sole managing director

2009

Strategic shareholding and cooperation with the Salescreen company
